About the project
A commercial development, Bernard Court is a contemporary five-storey building comprising four floors of lettable open plan office space, as well as storage space and utilitiy facilities.
The design responds to the client’s desire for a contemporary building, which portrays their mission to proffer lifestyle solutions for modern living to their upscale target market.
With a GIA of 2,570 m2, the building is sub-divided into two distinct zones that have separate circulation cores and a ground floor reception lobby.
The deep eaves and cantlevers along with the solar control glazing across the south facing walls enhance the thermal performance of the building.

About the project
Located in downtown Lagos, this remodeling project is for a company looking for a business environment to meet with its investors.
The remodeled office sits on approximately 450 m2 of open-plan layout.
From the reception, circulation to other areas of the office is guided by the movement of light expressed through recessed horizontal light grooves on the ceiling.
The contrast between the old and new is highlighted by the fusion of modern and local materials.
